Business owners from Welshpool looking to improve the technological side of their firms or promote their own services are set to benefit from a new technology expo happening in November.
The exhibition is being run by the South East Metro Small Business Centre and will be held at the City Of Canning council’s headquarters in the nearby suburb of Cannington. The event is a chance for technology firms to promote their products and services to potential customers, including government departments. Other local businesses will also be able to learn more about how they can use technology to their advantage.
The day’s guest speaker will be Danny Green, a professional boxer and motivational speaker from Perth who has four professional world boxing titles.
Following the expo, there will be a seminar about online marketing and conducting business online with a panel of experts who work with companies to develop online strategies. The panel will cover important areas for marketing, including brand development and how to build a professional online profile.
After the seminar, there will be a networking session for local entrepreneurs. Participants might like to get business card printing up to date before they attend, and with the focus on technology, they might also like to think about using digital Business Cards.
