Welshpool residents thinking about booking their next overseas trip will find plenty to inspire them at the Discover the Americas expo in central Perth this weekend.
The event is being held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre and will feature information on a range of holidays and destinations in both North and South America, including Alaska, Mexico and Hawaii.
More than 20 exhibitors will be at the event offering everything from flights and hotel deals to the necessary insurance and luggage. Stunning Brochures created by professional printing companies will give visitors the chance to see the beautiful scenery which awaits them and will offer a glimpse inside their chosen resorts or hotels.
Many exhibitors will be offering special discounts only available for bookings on the day of the expo. Every visitor can also enter draw for a travel gift card and cash bonus, while anyone who Books a trip on the day will also be entered into a second draw to win $1,000.
During the day, there will be a number of short presentations given by industry experts to help visitors make the most of their holiday. Talks will provide overviews of certain areas, tour options - including rail trips and cruising - and holidays for younger people. There will also be practical advice such as using foreign exchange services.
