Exciting celebration ball near Welshpool

The Good Sammy Annual IDD Ball will be held next month in Perth.

The ball is held to celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disability. The theme of the ball this year is ‘Thrift Glam’, and guests are encouraged to wear sustainable fashion in a vintage or retro style.

Awards will be given out on the night in recognition of community achievements, and the ‘Employee of the Year’ award will also be presented. Printing services will likely be used to create the award certificates.

A live DJ will keep the night humming, and Welshpool guests will be able to show their moves on the dance floor. A sit-down dinner will be provided, and drinks can be purchased at the bar. Both gluten-free and vegetarian cuisine will be available.

The Good Sammy Ball is organised by Good Sammy Enterprises, an organisation that seeks to create jobs for people with disabilities. It was established in 1958, and aims to create an inclusive society by changing workplaces and encouraging people with disabilities to reach their goals.

The Good Sammy Annual IDD Ball will be held on Saturday November 25th at the Pan Pacific Perth, 207 Adelaide Terrace, Perth. The evening begins at 6:30pm and concludes at 11:30pm. Tickets are $15 each, and entry for carers is free. Guests are able to bring their support dogs on the night.
