Hard working business owners from Welshpool will have the chance to let their hair down and enjoy themselves this weekend, when a special awards dinner takes place.
The event, which will be held at Caversham House, is being organised by the Local Chambers of Commerce, which supports businesses around Perth.
The annual dinner dance is usually a fun affair and this year looks set to be no exception, with a circus theme for the evening. As well as a three course meal and drinks, there will also be the chance for dancing and to enjoy circus entertainment. Guests are encouraged to wear costume for the event to fit with the theme and there are prizes for the best dressed participants.
Several awards will be presented during the evening, including business excellence, best home-based business and recognition for companies that support the local community. The finalists for the sustainability award for eco-friendly businesses will also be announced and there is still time to enter a company for this award.
While the event is a chance to relax, it will also provide some good networking opportunities with so many entrepreneurs and government representatives under one roof. Anyone thinking of going should make sure their business card printing is up to date so that details can be easily swapped on the night.
