Business owners from Welshpool and across the City of Canning have been invited to a special presentation by leading Australian social commentator Bernard Salt.
‘Open For Business: An Afternoon with Bernard Salt’ will feature a three-hour presentation focusing on how a surging ageing population and innovation can impact business.
Salt is in big demand on the national and international speaking circuit and is known for his insights and observations. He has also received acclaim as a business advisor, columnist, author and futurist.
Event organisers said Salt was probably best known to business owners in the area for his media commentary on the implications of social and demographic change. He appears regularly on television and radio programs across the nation and is an adjunct professor at Curtin University Business School in Perth.
A spokesman for the organisers said local business representatives would gain a great deal of knowledge and information from the KPMG Demographics founder’s presentation. Document scanning and digital printing will ensure Copies of key parts of his speech are available.
Salt has written five bestselling Books on the subject of demographic change and is also a columnist for the Australian newspaper. The spokesman said the presentation, which takes on April 26 will give local business owners and representatives a chance to hear one of the most in-demand corporate speakers in Australia.
