Richmond to host healthcare workshop

An event designed for families and friends who care for people with borderline personality disorder (BPD) is being held in Richmond this summer.

Individuals in Richmond that supply voluntary support and care to friends and relations with borderline personality disorder are invited to join this workshop, which is taking place in the city. The single-day event is called “Learning More About BPD” and is presented by Spectrum, an organisation specialising in support for complex trauma and personality disorders.

Institutions and organisations providing professional healthcare services often count on brochure printing services to create informative guides for carers explaining about the support available.

The group session will supply detailed information on BPD and talk about the best practices for supporting a person with BPD. It will also explore how carers can look after themselves and investigates several practical and educational ways to gain new skills in the framework of a secure environment alongside other care providers.

The Learning More About BPD workshop will now run at Spectrum on Monday, February 16. The venue is located at 110 Church Street, which can be found at the corner of Tweedie Place and Church Street in Richmond. The workshop will get underway at 9.30 am and finishes at 4.30 pm.

The comprehensive event is not suitable for clinicians as it focuses on caregivers in a voluntary role and admission is $22.26 per person.
