A touring show dedicated the hardest rock around is headed for a celebrated live music venue in Richmond this year.
Head bangers and slam dancers in Richmond can now book tickets for “Shred Fest 2026”. The travelling heavy metal festival is making a pit stop in the city as part of its epic tour of New Zealand and Australia helmed by some of the biggest names in the genre.
Organisers or travelling festivals sometimes order Promotional Products to stick tour buses, like wrist bands, T-Shirts and other wearables with tour dates and the names of performers.
The roster of bands combines homegrown talent with international artists. From Germany, Obscura are a progressive death metal band known for their technical ability while Fallujah are from the US and have earned a reputation for their atmospheric and progressive sound. Joining them are two Australian acts, Perth’s Ashen who play doom metal and Anoxia from Sydney who perform old-school death metal with an aggressive style.
Performances in each city on the tour will include local special guests.
Shred Fest will arrive at the Corner Hotel on Friday, September 11. The show starts at 6.30 pm and standing tickets are available to those aged 18 or over for $84.30. The venue is easy to find beside Richmond Railway Bridge at the corner of Stewart Street and Swan Street.
