Legendary Aussie rock and roll band to come to Richmond

Australian icons AC/DC will be bringing their POWER UP tour to Richmond, performing at a local venue for the first time in the band’s 50-year history.

Lead guitarist Angus Young and vocalist Brian Johnson will be joined on stage by rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, bass guitarist Chris Chaney and drummer Matt Lang.

The POWER UP tour launched in 2024, celebrating the band’s 17th studio album Power Up (2020) with 24 shows across Europe before selling out 10 shows in North America. Aussie fans will likely be fighting to get their hands on tickets, with extra shows added to all four venues on the Australian leg after the initial dates sold out.

Fans can expect a mix of new songs from the 2020 album alongside some of the band’s top hits, including “Back in Black”, “Highway to Hell”, “TNT”, and “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap”. The concert will also feature Aussie pub rock group Amyl and the Sniffers as the opening act.

Touring music acts often create Promotional Products to sell to fans at venues. This merchandise typically features album art, tour dates and locations and the logo of the performing artists.

The Australian leg of AC/DC’s POWER UP tour will come to the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Richmond for two shows only on Wednesday, November 12 and Sunday, November 16.
