Nunawading to host seasonal event

A springtime celebration designed for members of the community to enjoy is returning to the Nunawading locale for another year.

Citizens looking for a fun day out for the family can attend the Whitehorse Spring Festival. The annual occasion is offering free entry to everyone wishing to attend and promises a diverse range of entertainment and activities for all age groups.

The festival began after the City of Whitehorse was established in 1994 and is a well-attended local event. The 2026 edition is presented by principal sponsor and Whitehorse real estate business, Barry Plant. Organisers of yearly community events like this one often highlight the names of official sponsors on colourful signage with assistance from professional banner printing services.

Those visiting the Whitehorse Spring Festival can expect to see live performances and appreciate local groups from the area showcasing their talents. A variety of options for entertainment will be offered and there will be activities planned especially with families in mind.

Community stalls will also be set up for festivalgoers to make a purchase and help support local charities and groups.

The Whitehorse Spring Festival Whitehorse will now run at the Whitehorse Civic Centre on Sunday, October 18. The event will open at 10 am and ends at 4 pm with the centre situated within the Civic Centre Precinct at 379-399 Whitehorse Road in Nunawading.
