Seasonal festival to return to Nunawading
Families in Nunawading will soon have the opportunity to see in the summer holiday season with the return of Whitehorse Carols.
The event will bring together the community for an evening of festive cheer and holiday magic, with food, fun and musical performances from Australian stars of the stage and screen.
The event will open from 5:30 pm, with free rides and face painting for the children, and plenty of time to grab dinner from the line-up of food vendors. Attendees can also enjoy the roaming performing acts and take a photo with Santa.
Opening the show with a heartfelt community performance is Whitehorse Churches Care - a community group representing churches across the Whitehorse City area. Their performance will be followed by television and stage actress and recording artist Rhonda Burchmore, with her show A Red Hot Swinging Christmas.
The evening will also feature a star-studded performance from celebrated Australian opera singers Johanna Allen, David Hobson and Dale Burridge. Singer and actor Matt Hetherington will join them onstage to act as Master of Ceremonies.
