The Australian Voices has been around since 1993, seeking to promote Australian composers and singers and propel them into global fame and recognition. The choir has received national and international acclaim, including an award for Outstanding Contribution to Australian Music in a Regional Area, at the Australian Classical Music Awards in 2008 and gold medals at the World Choir Games in China in 2006.
They have toured across the world and have currently been on an Australian tour from March through to June. With 14 concerts in Melbourne from the 6th of June till the 18th of June, they’ll be performing in Hawthorn on 16th June.
The tour will present The Australian Voices singing classic choral masterpieces from Mozart to Rachmaninov to Bach. Gordon Hamilton took the reins as the current Artistic Director and Conductor of The Australian Voices in 2009, bringing a number of accomplishments to the table from his years living in Europe, including a number of international awards for compositions.
The Australian Voices often run workshops, which they have done for over 18 years. The workshops can even be customised to suit the needs of the group in attendance. They are likely to employ printing companies and Stationery printers for materials to be used at these workshops. Visitors are also likely to have seen poster printing, flyer printing and banner printing being used to advertise their big Australian tour, since these Forms of advertising are common for concerts and especially tours.
