Summer concert series comes to Hawthorn area

Summer 2022 is set to start with a bang for Hawthorn residents, as Boroondara council prepares for its Summer in the Park series.

Spanning six weekends from January through March, the series will showcase a range of genres, including jazz, comedy, opera and classical. The 2022 line-up is yet to be confirmed, but is expected in late 2021. All events will be Covid-safe and made enjoyable for all.

The series will be held in various parks around the area, making it accessible to all. Public transport information will be forthcoming during late 2021. Toilets and other facilities will be available a short distance from the event. Due to Covid, food and drink will not be sold during the event, nor will seating be provided.

The Summer in the Park events are always extremely popular, and it is advisable to book tickets early. Those hoping to attend can keep an eye out for tickets bookings beginning in late 2021. All events are designed with the summer weather in mind, although they may be cancelled in the event of heavy rain or hail. Patrons also need to be aware of any Covid regulations that may apply during the event. Flyer printing can be used to promote events like these.

Attendees can bring along a lawn chair, along with a hearty picnic meal, to enjoy the concert and the atmosphere. Summer in the Park will begin in January 2022.
