The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, located within easy distance from Hawthorn, is set to host the Melbourne Art Foundation’s annual Art Fair, showcasing the works of artists from across Australasia.
The Fair gives attendees the chance to explore, purchase and collect art from 70 leading galleries and Indigenous art centres from across Australia and beyond. Gallery showcases are joined by a curated program of major commissions made by living artists, large scale art installations from leading contemporary artists, international video projects from emerging and established artists alike, and a series of talks and workshops with artists, experts and curators.
The 2025 Melbourne Art Fair will also introduce the biennial Victoria First Peoples Art and Design Fair - a showcase exhibition featuring the work of 20 local, independent artists and four Victorian cultural art centres.
Since their establishment in 2003, the Melbourne Art Foundation has enabled around $70 million in sales at the Melbourne Art Fair alone, making it a hugely important opportunity for local artists and galleries to showcase and sell their work. Events like this provide an important opportunity for artists to network with the wider artistic community, building connections by sharing information and exchanging Business Cards.
The 2025 Melbourne Art Fair will take place across four days from Thursday, 20 to Sunday, 23 of February.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
