Melbourne is set to welcome a group of legendary rockers for a trio of shows.
Rock devotees from around Moorabbin, Hawthorn and other parts of Melbourne will have three chances to see New York favourites KISS live in concert, with new tour dates added for March. Inspired by the theatrics of rock legend Alice Cooper and the grinding sounds of the New York Dolls, the band became a household name in the 70s, finding an audience in American teens.
After forming back in 1973, KISS soon became notorious for their exciting live shows. Pyrotechnics, guitar players breathing fire and explosive guitars were all part of the act, a tradition that continues to this day when the band take to the stage. Promoters of touring bands often consult professional Print shops, enlisting their services to create branded advertising materials that urge members of the public to buy tickets.
KISS fans coming to the gigs will get a chance to hear a host of favourites like “Rock and Roll All Nite”, “Detroit Rock City”, “I Was Made for Lovin’ You” and “Christine Sixteen”.
On their tour dubbed “The End of The Road”, KISS will play the Rod Laver Arena located on Melbourne’s Olympic Boulevard from Sunday, March 20 to Tuesday, March 22. Support acts announced for the three nights will include Dead City Ruins, Rival Fire and Dallas Crane.
