Hawthorn residents on the lookout for laughs won’t want to miss an upcoming event taking place at the suburb’s celebrated Lido Cinemas. A night of live stand-up stars in bringing some of the boldest and brightest stars of the 2024 Melbourne International Comedy Festival to Hawthorn in May.

Venues like comedy clubs, theatres and local cinemas welcoming live comics to the stage often reach out to dedicated printing services for a diverse selection of materials from signage and Posters to Banners and Flyers.

Over two nights Lido Cinemas will present comedy favourites like Tom Ballard and Luke Kidgell. Ballard is a popular face and voice on Australian TV and radio respectively. However, he has enjoyed critical success on the stand-up circuit and was a national finalist in both the Class Clowns and Raw Comedy competitions.

Hit comedian Kidgell is renowned for his sketches on YouTube called "you don't own me" which have accrued over five million views. Other acts booked to appear include Danielle Walker, Dave O'Neil, and Kirsty Webeck, with more to be announced.

The autumn comedy showcase will take place at the Lido Cinemas on Friday, April 5 and Friday, April 19. The cinemas are located at 675 Glenferrie Road in Hawthorn and the show will run for 90 minutes on both nights.
