An acclaimed jazz musician renowned for his trumpet skills is soon set to play for Hawthorn audiences.
Composer and trumpeter Paul Williamson will be performing live at the Hawthorn Arts Centre. Local venues hosting live music shows often use professional Print shops to create promotional materials like Posters and Flyers to attract attendance at events.
The Australian jazz musician has played with international artists at venues and festivals all around the world, as well as at home. He has collaborated with many famous musicians, including Eddie Palmieri, Charlie Haden, John Abercrombie, Django Bates and the Monash Art Ensemble.
Williamson has earned an impressive reputation for his compositions and trumpet skills, producing unique recordings featuring ensemble pieces. He has released 12 different CD titles to date and continues to play and record to critical acclaim.
On the night, the trumpeter will be joined by pianist Sam Keevers, alto sax player Carl Mackey, double bass player Helen Svoboda and drummer Miles Henry. Those attending the performance will get a chance to hear groove and swing numbers with a hint of Latin, all played with a distinct Melbourne flavour.
Paul Williamson will play at the Hawthorn Arts Centre, located at 360 Burwood Road, on Friday, June 10. The show will start at 8 pm and end at 9.50 pm, with tickets priced between $24 to $30.
