Hawthorn music fans to hear Australian legend

An American-born music icon from down under will play live in Melbourne in springtime to celebrate her impressive career.

Music devotees from Hawthorn will get a chance to see the legendary Australian star Marcia Hines on stage this September. A spring show in Melbourne South bank, the home of the arts in the coastal capital will see celebrated singer and TV personality Hines perform her “Still Shining” concert.

At two and a half hours long, the event is a musical showcase paying tribute to the artists vast repertoire of songs. Beginning with her breakout hut “Fire and Rain” and moving into the disco days of the 70s right into her gospel period and greatest hits album released last year.

Record labels representing artists organising commemorative tours often work closely with specialist poster printing services to support their promotional campaigns.

Hines has sold more than three million editions of the 23 albums she recorded during her career. She had the Order of Australia bestowed on her in 2009 and was inducted into the coveted ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007.

Marcia Hines will be live on stage at The Palms at Crown on Saturday September 28. The show will begin at 7.30 pm and the venue can be found on the third level of the Crown Melbourne at 8 Whiteman Street in Melbourne Southbank.
