Go crazy for cats

Holding the title as the largest cat show in 2012, the 40th National Show for the Australian Cat Federation (ACF) is for the first time going to be “truly national”. Members of cat associations from all over the country will be representing their state on the 2012 team which is running the event in Melbourne.

National cooperation of cat organisations began in 1972, when the very first meeting to discuss the forming of a National Cat Federation occurred. The steering committee which was formed drew up a draft constitution right here in Melbourne and so the state of Victoria is a fitting place for the Ruby Anniversary of the Show.

As well as the show itself, raffles and cat-related stalls will be set up. It would be a great opportunity for the organisers to get Stationery printers to create some cat-themed Stationery for all the cat lovers out there. Cats are also famous for making the cutest Internet memes, which means that cute cat images would be great for flyer printing and poster printing to advertise the event.

There will also be a seminar to attend and guest speakers, meaning that you can also find out lots of information about cats, making it a great opportunity for brochure printers to be used to disseminate information easily and effectively to the crowd.

The event will be held at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds, not far from Footscray, Kensington and Flemington, this Sunday, June 10. Tickets range from $3 to $6 with special discounts for families. Please visit their website for further information.
