Pet therapy workshop details confirmed in Tottenham area

Residents of Tottenham are getting ready for an animal-assisted therapy session, which has been set for mid-August.

It will last for two hours, and the VUSU (Victoria University Student Union) is organising it.

Dan, an expert mentor, will host the session. He will bring his therapy dog, Bubbles. The session will discuss animal therapy and its benefits.

Animal therapy can help to reduce boredom and loneliness. It also encourages movement. Interactions with trained dogs can relieve stress, as they offer support and joy.

Animal therapy is especially beneficial for people facing physical and mental health challenges.

Attendees can meet Dan and Bubbles during the session. They will also learn about therapy methods. Attendees will have the opportunity to pick up useful dog handling skills, and join interactive well-being activities with Bubbles.

This event is a great chance for people wanting to improve their social skills. It will also provide a space to relax.

Well-being event organisers can use Stationery printers to connect. Printed Stationery makes a great giveaway, and items such as Journals or Notebooks help attendees take notes during sessions and remember a business’ name.

Learning Compassion with Canines will take place on Friday, August 15. The venue will be Victoria University Footscray Park, which can be found at 70/104 Ballarat Road, Footscray. The session will run from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Tickets will cost $10.
