Tottenham to present equestrian event

An annual occasion dedicated to skilled horsemanship is returning to a well-established racing venue in Tottenham in 2026.

Families in the area seeking impressive entertainment and a wealth of hands-on competitive activities can attend an event arriving in spring. Once again, the season will see the town welcome back Tottenham Horse Sports and Gymkhana. Running yearly for more than four decades, its experienced organisers have planned an action-packed weekend for all wishing to attend.

Offering affordable entry, the two-day extravaganza will feature several horse events with more than 100 horse-and-rider pairs competing over the weekend for prizes and ribbons. Those running events featuring contests sometimes count on professional printing services to supply specially printed awards and trophies.

There will also be a range of old-fashioned and family-oriented completions. These include pushbike races, the billy cart derby, tug-o-wars, dummy spitting, foot races, a quick shear contest, apple bobbing, a canine high jump and more. Those participating in the events will get an opportunity to win back their admission fee.

Food and refreshments will be close at hand with prices designed for families. These include grilled meats fresh from the barbeque and a bar open for business.

The 2026 Tottenham Horse Sports and Gymkhana will now be held at Tottenham Racecourse on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday October 11. The venue is easy to spot on Racecourse Road in Tottenham.
