Tottenham residents will soon be able to join the wider Maribyrnong community to celebrate the New Year with the return of Maribyrnong’s annual fireworks display.
Popular with families and guests looking to avoid the city crowds, the event kicks off at 6 pm, lighting up the sky at 9:30 pm for an early celebration.
Starting in the early evening, attendees can expect to see out the last few daylight hours of 2025 with a range of activities and entertainment, including carnival rides, games, roving performers and plenty of food options. Radio and television personality Myf Warhurst will host festivities on the main stage, joined throughout the evening by the Boonwurrung Ngargee Dance Group, Country Struts, Immy Owusu and headliner Mark Seymour.
The Maribyrnong Firework Spectacular, the highlight of the night, will launch at 9:30 pm. Closing out the evening, DJ Andrew McLelland will be on hand to fire up the dancefloor and play his crowd-pleasing party mix.
