Locals in Tottenham and surrounding suburbs are likely getting excited for the Slow Food Edgewater Farmers’ Market, a monthly event that is scheduled to return to the area in early July.
This new but beloved event of the region will bring together some of the best local producers in the state, and will feature an expanding assortment of fresh produce, cheeses, bread, free-range eggs, organic products, meats, preserves and more.
Attendees will browse the variety of vendors, who will all have been carefully selected by event organisers to guarantee an authentic farm-to-table encounter that will likely delight young and old alike.
A gold coin donation is all that is required to enter the market, with proceeds aiding the West Footscray Op Shop and Werribee’s Sunshine Harvest Garden - local organisations that support vulnerable people in need.

The Slow Food Edgewater Farmers’ Market will be held on Saturday, July 5 at Maribyrnong Family Park. This can be found at 337 Gordon Street in Maribyrnong. The market will open at 9:00 AM and conclude at 1:00 PM.
