In celebration of the 110th anniversary of the beloved children's Books by Beatrix Potter, “Happy Birthday Peter Rabbit” is a musical set to bring the classic tales to the children of today.
The Peter Rabbit Series has become iconic in the field of children's fiction, bringing the colourful characters of McGregor's vegetable patch to life for over a century. This mischievous musical about the eponymous Peter Rabbit is intended to introduce a whole new generation of young boys and girls to this fantastical and humorous world.
Adapted by Australian writer and producer Garry Ginivan, also known for Wombat Stew and My Mother Lived in Gooligulch, the show is meant to include the lovable characters of Peter Rabbit, Benjamin Bunny and Mr. Tod.
Stage shows quite typically ask printing companies to execute flyer printing and poster printing to publicise the event. This is especially effective for performances targeted at children, since they can create colourful and delightful advertising materials to appeal to a younger generation. Banner printing would also be considered for large displays at the venue itself and possibly also to publicise at other children's events.
The show is recommended for children aged 3 and up. It will be held at the Clock Tower Centre in Moonee Ponds, just south of Essendon, this Saturday 30 June at 10:00 am. It is estimated to run for 55 minutes with no interval. Tickets are a flat $20 for all ages, with no concession, and everyone over 18 months old will require a ticket.
