All are warmly welcomed to the celebratory event, whether previously involved as a cast member, organiser, volunteer or member of the audience. Fond memories will be shared as those involved talk about their experiences and reminisce.
The local, community-based Essendon Theatre Company (ETC) has produced over 150 productions during its lifetime, including comedy, drama and the occasional pantomime. All shows are produced with the audience sitting at dinner tables so they can bring their own snacks.
A member of the Victorian Drama League (VDL), the theatre has received awards and nominations, as one of the productions per year is eligible for the VDL awards.
The powerhouse behind the theatre is its dedicated volunteers, all of whom will be honoured in the celebratory afternoon. People are invited to:

Theatrical establishments often make use of local printing services to produce advertising material and programs for upcoming shows.
ETC Is Turning 50! The Celebration will take place on Sunday, 4 October, from 2 pm until 5 pm. The venue is the Essendon Theatre Company, 9 Bradshaw Street in Essendon West. Afternoon tea and the first drink will be provided, while subsequent drinks can be brought in.
