The Australian Institute of Management (AIM) has been delivering excellent management and leadership skills to many Australian organisations for over seventy years. In Victoria the not-for-profit organisation services Essendon as well as other suburbs in Melbourne’s west.

AIM offers a range of events and seminars throughout the year, short courses, coaching services, business facilities for rent, and a special management and business library and bookstore.

AIM was originally formed by a group of young Melbourne foremen in 1938. They began to meet regularly so they could develop their understanding of managerial principles and practices.

"It was a strong conviction of John Storey and the other industrialists who founded the Institute that Australia’s economic prosperity depended on improving the productivity of the manufacturing industry, and also in raising the performance of management. The primary role of the Institute was to educate its members through conferences, lectures, discussions and through networking."

A highly anticipated event is the Outstanding Women’s Series, which is a series of breakfasts featuring five very successful women who share their career insights with guests. After the speakers, this is also a wonderful networking opportunity for attendees so be sure to have you digital business card ready in time. The Outstanding Women’s Business Series is in it 18th year, which proves what a benefit guests have found these breakfasts to be to their own business practices by providing practical advice, unique perspectives and inspiration.
