Juke Box Racket to play at Essendon Bowls Club

Bowlers in Essendon will have the chance to rock on a Sunday afternoon when popular band Juke Box Racket play.

A bowls club is always about more than just bowls. It’s about being active and being part of a community and Essendon Bowls Club likes to make being active fun in many ways. Its Sunday Sessions create an afternoon of entertainment featuring different Melbourne bands. Following the appearance of the Substitutes in March, Juke Box Racket will have everyone up and dancing for the April gig.

Juke Box Racket are three young lads who are obsessed with rock and roll music from the 50s and 60s. With just a double bass, guitar and drums plus their three voices, the boys recreate the energy and enthusiasm of the golden age of rock and roll, with their own versions of classics from Chuck Berry, Little Richard, The Beatles and many more. The band are well known from appearing at private functions when they have people of every age out on the dance floor.

Bands often like to have Promotional Products, such as stubby holders or T-Shirts printed so that fans can take home a memento of a great time.

The band will play from 3pm to 6pm on Sunday April 28th. Cost is $10 per person and the bar will be open from 2pm.
