Wrestling fans in Essendon and surrounding suburbs are getting ready for the return of Melbourne City Wrestling (MCW) as the MCW Fight to Survive event is now rescheduled for January 2022.
Featuring some of Australia’s best wrestling talent, this latest live fight event will kick off an action-packed year for local wrestling enthusiasts.
Aiming to be one of the premier independent wrestling leagues in Australia, the MCW boasts a number of current WWE wrestlers amongst its alumni, including Buddy Murphy, Brendan Vink, Bronson Reed, Peyton Royce and Dakota Kai. Formed in 2010, over the past decade, the league has grown to support sell-out events and a legion of local and international fans. Live sporting events such as this can benefit from poster printing to help advertise to potential ticket holders.
Originally planned to run throughout October 2021, the MCW Fight to Survive has been rescheduled due to local COVID restrictions, which prevented the initial event from proceeding. Tickets purchased for the original October date are still valid, and ticket holders who are unable to attend the new date are being encouraged to contact the MCW for a refund.
The MCW Fight to Survive will run from 7:30 pm at the Thornbury Theatre on Saturday, January 15th. Tickets are strictly limited and are only available for purchase online – they will not be sold at the door. More information is available from the Melbourne City Wrestling website.
