What's Happening in Essendon, VIC…

Essendon music fans to hear Canadian indie

An indie music band from Toronto, Canada will soon make their Australian debut, which will include a show in Melbourne.

Those who enjoy indie pop music in Essendon and other satellite cities of Melbourne won’t want to miss the chance to see Canadian band, Valley, when they play Max Watts this coming August. Presented by Frontier Touring, the group’s Australian odyssey will be the first time they have ever appeared down under.

Tour organisers and record labels often purchase a supply of branded promotional products they can issue to lucky fans who attend concerts across the country. The tour will include a selection of east Coast shows across Australia and follows sold-out appearances across the US and Canada where they have impressed audiences with their live set.

Dubbed the “Lost in Translation”, the landmark tour for Valley will see them play at the Triffid in Brisbane on Tuesday, August 15 and Factory Theatre in Sydney on Thursday, August 17. The show in Melbourne will be the final date on the Australia leg of their tour.

Valley will now be on stage at Max Watts Melbourne on Friday, August 18. Those attending will find the venue at 125 Swanston Street in Melbourne and the show will kick off at 7.30 pm and finish at 11 pm.

The general price for admission is $59 per person.
