Essendon Keilor College holds open day

Essendon Keilor College is holding an open day with tours of all of its campuses, with information sessions for students and parents of all year levels taking place.

The college is a government high school operating on three campuses in the north of Melbourne. The three-campus arrangement is acknowledged in the school’s Logo Design. Students in years seven to nine are catered for at the Keilor East campus and the Niddrie campus in Airport West. The senior campus in Essendon caters for students in years ten to twelve and is on the site of the former Essendon High School, which was founded in 1913.

The present college was established in 1993 from the amalgamation of five local schools and is well-known for hosting international students. It offers a broad range of courses including VCE, VET and VCAL to accommodate the needs of all students. It also has a diverse co-curriculum and various clubs offering students opportunities in sport, the arts, leadership and community service.

The open day will be held on Monday 6th May. Tours of each campus will be conducted at 9:30am and 11:30am and there will be information sessions at the Essendon campus at 6pm for students of all year levels and their families. Those unable to attend on the day can ring the college to arrange a visit at another date.
