Essendon families invited to magical holiday performance

Families throughout Essendon are being invited to a special series of live performances hosted by the Australian Shakespeare Company.

Dubbed “Tinkerbell and the Dream Fairies”, the Company’s latest school holiday program is jam-packed with music, fun, and laughter, and is guaranteed to leave young audience members buzzing with joy.

Following the adventures of the fairy Tinkerbell and her friends from “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, the musical performance will see Tinkerbell seek out her missing wings with the help of her fellow fairies Peaseblossom, Mustardseed, Cobweb, and Moth. School holiday performances such as this can benefit from poster printing to help advertise key session details to potential audiences.

Children heading along to the performance are encouraged to dress up for the day as a fairy, elf or even their favourite superhero. Meanwhile, the grown-ups can help make a day of the event by packing a picnic lunch and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the historic Rippon Lea House and Gardens. Built in 1868, the 33-room mansion and surrounding gardens are now a popular destination for tourists and families alike.

Tinkerbell and the Dream Fairies by the Australian Shakespeare Company runs from December 21 through to January 23 at the Rippon Lea Estate House and Gardens on Hotham Street. Shows run twice a day commencing at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. Tickets cost $25 each and children under 12 months are free.
