Essendon area to host old-school business event

A restaurant-bar in Melbourne has been selected to host a classic business networking session later this year.

An event called “Networking After Five” is inviting business-focused people from Essendon and other suburbs of Melbourne to immerse themselves in an old-school experience.

Designed to bring back the simpler times when like-minded professional would gather in a room to swap Business Cards over a drink or two, the event will be held at The Tippler & Co., just down the road from the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), the cosy bar and restaurant has been carefully selected to provide a relaxing environment for making new connections.

The event is an hour and a half in length and sponsored by Business Networking International (BNI). Whether attendees are prospective BNI members, BNI members or just business people seeking to expand their existing network, the upcoming event n Melbourne is entirely free to attend.

The Networking After Five event will now take place at The Tippler & Co. on Monday, May 6. The bar and restaurant is situated at 58 Wellington Parade in East Melbourne and the networking session will start at 5 pm and end at 6.30 pm.

There is no formal agenda for the event and drinks will be available at standard bar prices. Those wishing to participate can register their interest online with BNI.
