Country music coming to Essendon

Essendon is set to welcome a renowned Melbourne country star and his band to the stage.

Homegrown country music group, Bobby Valentine and the Band of Renown, will be making their debut performance at the Essendon Bowls Club this year. Sports clubs across the state often look to professional Print services to create branded Letterheads for correspondence.

A professional entertainer for more than 30 years, Valentine has appeared on stage both at home and internationally working with big stars like Rod Stewart, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder among to name but a few. As a solo performer he has also been enlisted to play privately at several special occasions. He played live at the 40th birthday of Australian music legend Jimmy Barnes and at actor Hugh Jackman’s wedding in 1996.

His song writing skills have seen him win international recognition in competitions awarding him with many accolades and an invitation to visit the home of country music Nashville, Tennessee. Many of Valentine’s songs have become part of cinema soundtracks including a feature film shot in Ireland.

Bobby Valentine and the Band of Renown will play Essendon Bowls Club (EBC) located at 50 Raleigh Street in Essendon on Sunday, June 5. Bobby and the band will be on stage at 3 pm and the show will end at 6 pm playing a mix of country classics and all-original tracks from the Valentine songbook.
