The Tesselaar Tulip Nursery in Silvan, a suburb of the Dandenong Ranges, is set to soon host the Tesselaar Tulip Festival.
The festival encourages locals to get out into their community and peruse the plants on display while enjoying the variety of other activities on offer. The event will include not just beautiful tulip displays, but also music shows, authentic food, folk dance shows and other entertainment programmes and activities. There will also be a variety of regional food and wine on offer for attendees to taste.
Small businesses, such as plant growers and local food vendors, have the opportunity to promote their goods grown in the Dandenong Ranges during the festival. Many people from all over the area will be attending to buy plants from the vast array of nurseries, which number over 40 in the area. Regional food market vendors selling their local wares at festivals such as this can use professional banner printing for their stalls for advertising and to help encourage repeat business.
The Tesselaar Tulip Festival will give locals and vendors the opportunity to socialise, grab something to eat, buy plants and enjoy the cultural activities on display over a month-long period. It will be held from Saturday, 11th September to Friday, 10th October at the Tesselaar Tulip Nursery, which is located in Silvan.
