Childrens entertainer to light up Dandenong venue

Families in the Dandenong area might choose to join an energetic upcoming session in the company of an entertainer who incorporates signing into her shows.

Children’s entertainer Emma Watkins released her debut album, Emma Memma, in 2022, which went on to win Best Children’s Album at the 2023 ARIA Music Awards.

All songs in the album, apart from Happy Birthday, were penned by Watkins, along with Oliver Brian.

Watkins is now touring Australia and will play 40 dates to support her upcoming album, Jungle Picnic. Like the first album, listeners can expect dancing, sing-along moments and storytelling that reaches out to everyone.

To go along with the picnic theme, the audience is invited to bring along picnic baskets and a pet rock, and children will be encouraged to join in the games with Emma Memma and her friends.

Watkins has always incorporated sign language as an integral part of her show and will have an interpreter on stage.
