The season will include top shows such as Archie Roach's Tell Me Why, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow and Opera Australia's Carmen, many of which have often been promoted via poster printing campaigns at venues across Australia.
The return to live performances at the Drum Theatre comes after many months of disruptions and restrictions due to COVID-19, and it has been welcomed by everyone, including Mayor of Dandenong Angela Long, who said:
“We want our community to be uplifted, inspired and moved.”
Long added that audiences will be treated to a great selection of performances, and their attendance will also assist in supporting the arts industry in the local area.
The programme represents a diverse range of entertainment, with everything from top vocalist Damien Leith's tribute show to the Comedy Festival Roadshow 2021 on April 23, which is guaranteed to inspire laughter and enjoyment.
Among many other shows set to be presented at the Drum Theatre in Lonsdale Street are the play The Midnight Gang on April 7 and 8, followed on April 15 and 16 by The 91-Storey Treehouse, with Tell Me Why on May 7 and Carmen on May 13 and 14.
