Kids and young people throughout Dandenong and surrounding areas are being invited to a special day of skating and grip art as part of their 2022 Summer Dash holiday programme activities.
Dubbed the “Skate, Scoot and Grip Art workshop”, the two-hour workshop will allow participants to upgrade their boards with custom grip art designs and then put the finish products to the test.
Organised by the Greater Dandenong Youth Services, this free workshop is just one of many such activities designed to engage Dandenong youth in creative and hands-on activities over the course of the summer school holidays. Other workshops include sports such as soccer, table tennis and basketball, and art and crafting opportunities such as tie-dye and street art mural workshops. Community programmes such as this can benefit from poster printing to help advertise event details throughout the local community.
Working with young people aged 12 to 25 and their families, the Greater Dandenong Youth Services provides an important service base for young people in the local community. The Summer Dash Youth Holiday Activities are just one of a series of ongoing initiatives aimed at assisting and supporting youth in the local community.
The Skate, Scoot and Grip Art workshop is scheduled for Friday, January 28th at the Noble Park Skate Park from 1 pm to 3 pm. More information is available from the Greater Dandenong Youth Services website.
