A major running festival is happening at an important sports venue in Dandenong later this year.
Autumn will see Dandenong Stadium play host to the South East Running Festival. The April sports event will be the first of its kind and promises a memorable day dedicated to fun, fitness and community spirit.
Organisers of sports events often connect with professional poster printing services to obtain engaging advertising materials that encourage athletes and amateurs to participate and the public to cheer them on.
The running festival is designed for all levels of ability to compete including seasoned professional runners, casual joggers and families looking for fun. The occasion will include several running events including a half marathon for those aged 15 and over, a 10 kilometre and five kilometre run for those aged 10 and above and a one-kilometre children’s dash for under 10s.
The run starts outside the stadium and leads runners across the Melbourne Water Wetlands with the finish line back at Dandenong Stadium. The festival will also feature a wide range of food and beverages options, entertainment and activities for all ages and an energetic soundtrack.
The South East Running Festival will take place at Dandenong Stadium on Sunday, April 13. The event starts at 7 am and the stadium can be found sited at 270 Stud Road in Dandenong.
