Dandenong to celebrate international BBQs

Dandenong Market’s BBQs of the World, which is being touted as a celebration of all things grilled, will be returning this year. The event is set to appeal to both families and BBQ aficionados alike.

Different regions from around the world will represent their own unique and flavourful take on the art of grilling during the event. Afghan kebabs, German kranskys, classic burgers, Argentinian asado and Filipino skewers are just a few of the dishes that will be on offer.

Organisations involved in events like this can often be easily identified by their colourful and distinct Logo Design, which they can choose to display on stall canopies.

There will be a host of free family entertainment on the day, including a Latin dance performance with Entertainment Dance Creations, dancing and singing with One Spirit Africa, face painting for children, a live cooking demonstration with Kishwar Chowdhury from MasterChef and more.

This is just one of over 200 events being organised for Melbourne’s iconic Food and Wine Festival, running from 21 to 30 March this year.

BBQs of the World will be held on Sunday 30 March 2025 from 10am to 3pm at Dandenong Market, which can be found on the corner of Clow Street and Cleeland Street, Dandenong. Admission and parking will be free with food and drink on sale.
