AFL fans in Dandenong are invited to a special evening to meet and grab an autographed photograph of some of the Essendon Bombers’ most beloved players.
Recently retired players David Zaharakis and Cale Hooker are joining fellow teammates Darcy Parish, Jake Stringer and Zach Merrett for an exclusive fan event later next month.
Zaharakis, who had played for Essendon for 13 seasons throughout his career, was awarded the W.S. Crichton Medal in 2011 and ANZAC Day Medal in 2013. Meanwhile, Hooker, who joined the Bombers in the 2007 national draft, also went on to announce his retirement from the game earlier this season. Along with saying farewell to the two retiring players, fans will also have to opportunity to meet and greet three other Bombers' big guns in the form of Parish, Merrett and Stringer. With two different packages on offer, attendees can either select general admission to the show or splurge on a “Bomber for Life” photo package, which will provide a professional photo with the ticketholder and one other friend with the legendary players.
The “Farewell Hooksey & Zakka” live show is scheduled for November 25th at the Hallam Hotel, starting at 7pm. Spaces are limited, and bookings online are essential.
