Business event bound for Dandenong

A Dandenong community hub is set to host a two-day event designed to help those interested in self-employment.

Those seeking to cut their own career path in Dandenong and work for themselves may be interested to attend an upcoming event taking place at the city’s civic centre. The two-day event is entitled the Business Plan Accelerator Workshop and invites all from the area interested in becoming a self-employed.

Those embarking on a freelance career or planning on launching a start-up often look to professional business card printing services to produce branded professional calling cards to hand out to any new contacts they meet.

The Dandenong workshop is a free event offering support to self-starters helping them make a solid plan that outlines their objectives. The workshops are Australian federal government funded and feature instructors who are experienced advisors in the field of business. By the end of the two days, attendees will have a clear strategy to start their new firms and may also be eligible for further support and funding.

The Business Plan Accelerator Workshop will be held at the City of Greater Dandenong Civic Centre on Tuesday, October 24 and Wednesday, October 25. The community hub can be found at 225 Lonsdale Street in Dandenong, and the workshop will start at 8.45am and end at 3.30pm on both days.
