Free workshops to help small business succeed online

Business owners in Croydon have an opportunity to boost their online skills by taking part in free workshops being conducted online by BizHub Maroondah.

The online workshops and free webinars are being offered to provide business proprietors with a chance to gain greater digital knowledge and to up their skills to be able to adjust and meet new market demands and conditions. In doing so, the courses will show participants how to approach and make key decisions about social media and websites, appropriate and effective ways to use digital advertising and search engines and so much more.

A recent City of Maroondah media release said the crucial need to stay connected with customers was an important lesson learnt during the COVID-19 pandemic. It stated:

"When it comes to running a business, we’ve learnt just how important having an online presence can be. If your customers are online, you (business owners) need to be there too."

The programme aims to educate business owners in not just how to create a website, but how to understand their individual target audiences. Such knowledge can assist in expanding the customer base. Often, initiatives related to boosting client numbers and creating greater brand awareness also entail the use of professional printing services.

In addition to the workshops, which are to be held this month, free clinics for small business owners in need of extra support will also be available to emerging and established enterprises.
