There are just a few weeks left for photographers from Croydon and around the City of Maroondah to stake their claim for a prize in this year’s photo competition.
In 2015, the contest is celebrating its 20th anniversary with the addition of a second category. As in previous years, photographers are being asked to capture an image of their favourite Maroondah activity, but this year snappers can also enter a picture of their favourite building in the city.
The first category is divided into three sections: one for people aged 18 and over, one for 13 to 17 year olds and one for children aged under 12. Two prizes will be awarded in each section, including gift vouchers from Croydon Camera House, a theatre season pass and shopping vouchers.
Another prize, the Mayor’s Encouragement Award, will be chosen from all entries.
Printing services will be used to create high-quality Copies of all the entries for an exhibition to be held at Maroondah Art Gallery from July to September.
The winners will be decided by a panel of judges and announced at a ceremony in July, when the prizes will be awarded.
More details and entry Forms can be found on the City of Maroondah website. Entries can be made online or by post, and the competition closes on Monday, June 15th.Get a Free Quote for Forms Get a Free Quote for Copies
