Parents have the opportunity to enrol their children in a photography workshop in Croydon during the April school holidays.
This interactive workshop is designed specifically for children aged 10–16 years who have an interest in learning how to use a DSLR camera. Attendees will be introduced to the camera and its interchangeable lenses.
How to use the camera, and all the relevant settings such as aperture, ISO and shutter speed will be covered during the workshop. The class not only focuses on the technical use of the camera, but also teaches participants basic composition techniques such as lighting, perspective, focusing and the rule of thirds.
The workshop welcomes all skill levels, from participants who have never picked up a camera to those who wish to increase their knowledge and skillset. Class sizes are limited to enable every participant individual time with the tutor. Students are welcome to bring their own camera and lenses or to utilise a camera supplied by organisers.
The workshop includes a three-hour practical session, a printed booklet and cheat sheet detailing everything related to a DSLR camera and a 4GB SD card for the participant to use and take home after the class. Organisers of workshops may make use of printing services to create Brochures and Booklets for participants.
The School Holiday Photography Workshop takes place on Wednesday 1st April from 10am to 1pm at the Croydon Camera House Studio. The cost of the workshop is $59 per student and bookings can be made online.Get a Free Quote for Brochures Get a Free Quote for Booklets
