Croydon residents invited to wreath making workshop

Residents of Croydon will be able to make their own personalised wreath in an upcoming workshop, just in time for the Christmas festivities.

The Alexandria Homemaker Centre has partnered with Flowerlane & Co to hold a series of workshops to enable people to make Christmas wreaths, either as their own decoration or for gifts.

Workshop participants will be given a selection of natural materials to use, including fresh foliage, berries, dried fruit, pinecones, cinnamon sticks and other decorative items. The wreaths can be taken away at the end of the session and will then continue to dry naturally in the following days. Wreaths may be hung on either the door or the wall upon completion.

The workshops will detail how to construct wreaths and the best designs and styles to use. They are suitable for beginners, with no previous experience required, as participants will be guided throughout every stage of the construction by staff.

Organisers of workshops like this will often distribute Business Cards to participants as a method of advertising their services and the skills they can offer.

Workshops will take approximately an hour and a half, and the cost is $20 per person. They will be held on Thursday, December 10 and Friday, December 18 at the Alexandria Homemaker Centre. For more information, see the Eventbrite website.
