Croydon celebrates school holidays with slime workshops

Neurodivergent children throughout Croydon and surrounding suburbs are being asked to come and join in some messy fun during the school holidays.

Run by Okey Dokey Childhood Therapy, a private allied health practice in Melbourne’s outer east, a series of three separate slime workshops will offer kids the chance to get their hands dirty and connect with their peers in a supportive and stress-free environment.

Making friends and social connections can sometimes prove difficult for children with diverse needs, and these workshops are designed to allow kids to problem solve and interact with others under the guidance of experienced clinical professionals. School holiday programmes such as this can benefit from flyer printing to help advertise workshop details to local families.

Following slime recipes and offering participants to enjoy a hands-on tactile experience, the various workshops will be broken up into age-appropriate groupings to ensure participants can interact with peers of a similar age. These groups will range from prep to grade two, grades two to five, and grades five to six, with the respective workshops running on separate days over the school holidays.

Okey Dokey’s slime workshops will run for two hours per session and cost $120 per participant. They will take place from January 12th to January 21st, 2022. Further information and bookings are available via the Okey Dokey Childhood Therapy website.
