An event designed for professional people in the hair salon industry will be held in Melbourne this winter.
Salon owners and managers in Croydon will soon get a chance to raise their game with an upcoming event taking place in Melbourne. June will see the south side of the city’s Ozdare Academy present an eight-hour course on running a successful hairdressing salon.

The Melbourne course will be led by Mal Masci, who began a career in the industry more than two decades ago. The Creative Director for Masci Hair and Spa, which operates three salons, Masci is considered a pioneer in the field of hairdressing.
Masci’s programme is the culmination of her personal commitment to increase awareness and years of experience to help salon professionals find a fulfilling work-life balance with healthy boundaries. Topics explored include ego type, mindfulness techniques, how to lean into triggers and creative alignment.

The course will take place at the Ozdare Academy on Monday, June 17, between 9am and 5pm. The academy can be found at 24 York Street in South Melbourne, and costs $450 to attend.
