Croydon area to hear Swedish pop

A musical tribute band renowned for their passion for ABBA is performing in Melbourne later this year.

ABBA fanatics from Croydon will soon get two chances to see hit act Björn Again in concert. Applauded as the biggest ABBA tribute show, the band will be at the Crown Melbourne in November to play back-to-back shows.

The performances are part of Björn Again’s 2024 Waterloo Anniversary Tour which pays homage to the Swedish pop sensations’ victory at the 1974 edition of the Eurovision Song Contests. Now 50 years on, ABBA’s music continues to find an audience with people of all ages around the world.

Organisers of contests and competition often look to comprehensive printing services to create branded trophies marked with emblems, dates and the names of winners.

ABBA devotees coming to the shows at The Crown will get to hear timeless classics played like “Mamma Mia”, “Dancing Queen”, “Super trouper” and “Waterloo”. Formed in Melbourne in 1988, Björn Again has toured across the globe and played many major festivals. Featuring international artists, the group is named after one of ABBA’s principal songwriters Björn Ulvaeus.

Björn Again will now be live on stage at The Palms at the Crown on Friday, November 22 and Saturday, November 23. The shows will both begin at 7.30 pm and the venue is situated on level three of The Crown Melbourne on Whiteman Street in Melbourne Southbank.
