Canadian reggae headed for Croydon area

A famous gig spot in Melbourne is set to host a reggae fusion band from Canada as part of a tour honouring their debut release.

Croydon music fans with a passion for reggae can see Toronto band MAGIC! live in concert in January. The band are appearing at acclaimed Melbourne venue 170 Russell to pay tribute to their first ever single “Rude”, released in 2013.

Venues offering different concert packages sometimes use poster printing services to create informational notices for ticket buyers detailing what is included in the price they pay.

Directly influenced by bands like The Police and artists like Bob Marley and Stevie Wonder, MAGIC! launched “Rude” in 2013 as a single off their first album called “Don’t Kill the Magic”, to international success. The band features producer, songwriter and lead vocalist Nasri, guitarist Mark Pelli, bassist Ben Spivak, and drummer Alex Tanas.

Those attending the show will get a chance to enjoy MAGIC! hits that may include the fan favourite anthem “Inner Love Energy”.

MAGIC! will now perform a live set at 170 Russell on Wednesday, January 29. The concert will kick off at 7.30 pm and the venue is based at 170 Russell Street in Melbourne. The performance is only open to those aged 18 or over.
