Business owners urged to attend 2021 BizWeek

Businesses in Croydon and throughout the City of Maroondah are being invited to build on their skills and business knowledge by taking part in this year's BizWeek.

Celebrating 20 years, the annual programme offers emerging and established businesses a chance to learn and gain tips from a range of industry leaders.

According to a Maroondah Council media release, the events and online workshops will focus on helping businesses fast-forward their new ideas, marketing, digital business, networks and growth. Participants will also learn powerful social media and marketing strategies considered essential for boosting brand awareness, while at the same time reaching the all-important target audience.

“Re-emerge for business” and “Chaos to calm” are two of the programmes aimed at assisting business owners to develop strategies and tools that will help them be in a better position to flourish, while also becoming stronger, according to the media release, which also stated:

“Learn to connect like a pro at ‘Business networking’ before putting your new skills into action by attending ‘The Friday Arvo’ and ‘Maroondah Business Group’ networking events.”

Business events such as BizWeek, which will be held from May 24 to June 2, are also ideal for networking and exchanging Business Cards with other business colleagues.

The extensive list of events and workshops planned range from learning how to run a business from home and an effective marketing guide for small business to social media tips and communicating online with greater impact and confidence. See the council's website for full details.
