A Sydney-based psychedelic rock band are set to perform for Southport audiences.
To introduce their first long play album to music lovers in Queensland, psych rockers The Lazy Eyes will be taking the stage in Southport at the popular gig spot Vinnies Dive Bar. Live music venues like bars and clubs often rely on professional flyer printing to create leaflets that spread the word around when bands are in town.
While The Lazy Eyes have released extended play recording, SongBook is their debut album. Officially released on March 4, the recording is already enjoying critical acclaim and its first single “Fuzz Jam” has enjoyed airplay on Triple J radio.
While those attending the show will hear a host of new tracks from SongBook, there will likely be hits on the setlist from the group’s earlier efforts EP1 and EP2. Older tracks like 'Cheesy Love Song' and 'Where’s My Brain???' are concert favourites for the band.
The Lazy Eyes have more than just a new album to celebrate with their national tour however, they were recently confirmed to appear at the epic Australian music festival, Splendour in the Grass and will be supporting US rock sensation The Strokes on their next tour.
The Lazy Eyes will be on stage at Vinnies Dive Bar located at 44A Nerang Street in Southport on Sunday, May 1. The show will start at 8 pm.
